The Calhoun County Prosecuting Attorney's Office is proud to announce that Michael Hicks has been completing an internship at the office through the Parkersburg Area Community Foundation's Civic Leaders Fellowship Program.
The Civic Leaders Fellowship Program was organized to keep local students in the Mid-Ohio Valley region after college graduation by allowing the students to meet and network with community leaders and prospective employers.
"I'm grateful for the opportunity to work at the prosecutor's office and gain an insight about what being an attorney and public servant is all about," said Hicks.
"I've always considered going to law school once I receive my undergraduate degree, and this internship has allowed me to learn more about the court system and the legal field."
