ACKLEY INDICTED ON 10 COUNTS IN GILMER

A Gilmer County grand jury has indicted Gary Lee Ackley, 104 Johnson Street, Grantsville, with 11 counts. Ackley has been in Calhoun Circuit Court on additional charges. He was indicted for driving under the influence of alcohol-3rd offense; fleeing with reckless disregard; fleeing while driving under the influence; driving while license revoked for DUI; and hunting while under the influence of alcohol. Also loaded firearm in a vehicle; shooting across or in public road; hunting or pursuing wildlife on Sunday; hunting during closed season; and hunting deer with improper caliber ammunition. He is was represented by Kevin Hughart with bond being set.
