Bobby Jackson Starcher, 77 - Mt. Zion

Bobby Jackson Starcher, 77, of Mt. Zion, Rowels Run Road, died July 2, 2015 at the VA hospital in Clarksburg.

He served in the US Army four years and had been employed at Stillmill in Canton OH. He enjoyed playing Keno and cards.

He was born at Seth, Boone County, the son of Albert and Della Gibson Starcher.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years about two months ago, Louise Gail Cooper Starcher, 76.

He is survived by sons, Robert Douglas (Rebecca) Starcher of Mt. Zion and Michael Dale Cooper of PA; a daughter, Debra Darlene Starcher of Mt. Zion; grandchildren, Cody, Austin, and Kylie Starcher of Mt. Zion; Brandon (Jana) Cooper of Columbus OH; Brian, Michael, Matthew, Joseph and Adam Cooper of Canton OH; two great-grandchildren Kayla and Chloee Cooper of Columbus OH.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his wife and parents, by brothers Berthel, Bethel, Bruce and Boyd Starcher; and a sister Mildred Atkinson.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 11, at 12:30 p.m. at the Cremo Community Church with Rev. Roger Carter officiating.
