Rondle Lee "Dog" McCumbers, Jr., 53 - Stumptown

Rondle Lee "Dog" McCumbers, Jr., 53, of Stumptown, West Virginia, passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 in Clarksburg, WV, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer.

He was born November 5, 1961 in Lewis County, West Virginia, a son of Rondle Lee and Violet Kathleen Cottrill McCumbers.

He was the owner of Top Dog Well Services and worked in Natural Resources with his son.

He attended Gilmer County High School where he was active in the FFA and wrestling. In later years, he was an active member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and boating with his family. He was a Christian by faith.

Survivors include his companion, Lisa Hess; children whom he loved dearly, Rondle Ray "Moe" McCumbers, Sara Elizabeth McCumbers, Austin Keith Wagoner, and Mylea Elizabeth Hess of Stumptown; parents, Rondle Lee McCumbers, Sr. of Spencer WV and Violet Kathleen "Kathy" (Teddy) West of Spencer WV; brothers, Ronnie McCumbers (Ruth) of Normantown WV, James McCumbers of Glenville WV, Virgil (Donna) McCumbers of Waynesburg PA, and David (Noelle) McCumbers of Clarksville TN; sisters, Deloris (Marvin) Paxton and Donna (Paul) Mazon of Spencer, Lisa Carroll of Tallapoosa GA, Edna (Doug) Venditti of Apex NC, and Crystal Murphy of Glenville WV; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Thomas and Edna Hardway McCumbers and Archie and Ruth Perkins Cottrill.

Funeral services will be held at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bryan Groves officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in the Cottrill Family Cemetery on Laurel Run at Rosedale.
