GILMER MAN ARRESTED FOR MALICIOUS ASSAULT

Gilmer authorities arrest Seth Michael Johnson, 21. He is incarcerated in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $25,000. Johnson is charged with malicious assault/wounding, assault, domestic battery, property destruction and probation violation. Kristen Felica Bender, 26, was charged in Braxton County with delivery of a schedule IV controlled substance. She is in Central Regional. A Gilmer man, James Franklin Byrd, 29, is in Central Regional Jail charged with cruelty to animals. Braxton authorities arrested Nicky Joe Heater, 23, and charged him with reckless driving. He is in Central Regional.
