Rev. William David "Dave" Johnson, 72 - Vienna

Rev. William David "Dave" Johnson, 72, of Vienna, passed away June 25, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center.

He was born April 27, 1943, in Grantsville, W.Va., a son of the late Willard and Opal Harris Johnson.

He was retired from the Wood County Board of Education as a school bus driver. He was also a Baptist minister serving in several area locations in Ohio and West Virginia. His most recent was the Bethlehem Baptist Church in Grantsville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, of 47 years, Sheila Johnson; children, Jason Johnson (April), of Parkersburg, Vickie Enoch, of Elizabeth, and Terry Murphy (Debi) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Campbell Diane Johnson, Corey and Caleb Tanner, Abigale Ruble and McKi Anderson; great-grandchildren, Easton Anderson and Jackson Ruble; sisters, Lila Hughes and Grace Dailey; brothers, Howard Johnson and Emory Johnson.>{? In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Leavitt Funeral Home Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
