Nada Goff Stalnaker Camp, 89 - Spencer

Nada Goff Stalnaker Camp, 89, of Spencer, West Virginia, died Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at Roane General Hospital, Spencer.

She was the daughter of the late Orae Jefferson and Orla Phillips Goff and was born at Reedy on July 1, 1923.

She graduated from Spencer High School with the class of 1943. Nada had ten years of service with Monarch Rubber Co. in Spencer and retired from C.C. Dodd Oil and Gas with 26 years of service.

She was a member of the Alexander Baptist Church, where she had served as church clerk. She was a member of the American Legion Post 21 Auxiliary, the Wetzel Chapter No. 27 Order of the Eastern Star, the Roane County Republican Executive Committee, and the Roane General Hospital Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Marvin F. Stalnaker, on December 16, 1984; her husband of 22 years, Walter E. Camp, on April 20, 2008; and daughter, Debra LeNar Stalnaker on February 27, 2013.

Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Donald G. and Charlotte Stalnaker of Omaha, Neb. and Marvin F. "Stormy" and Charlotte Stalnaker, II of Spencer; stepdaughter, Stephanie Camp Rader and husband, Russell of Charleston WV; stepson, Robert Camp and wife, Sheila of Mansfield, Texas; four grandsons, Chad, Jeffrey, Curtis and Philip Stalnaker; five granddaughters, Kendra Rader, Sarah Rader Delery, Andrea Stalnaker Westfall, Leslie Rader Hill and Lauren Camp; one sister, Irene Goff Elizondo and nephew, J.M. Elizondo of Naples, Fla.; 19 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 26 at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, with Pastor Andy Kinder officiating. Burial will be in the Eventide Cemetery, Spencer. Friends may call two hours before the service at the funeral home.
