A person that called 911 said that he was fighting with another man, when that man punched his niece. He said that's when he stabbed the man in his side.

The man tried to help the victim by applying pressure to the wound, but when police arrived, they arrested him.

The names of those involved and the condition of the victim are not being released.

PRESTON BANK ROBBERY - The Preston County Sheriff's Department is investigating a robbery at the Clear Mountain Bank in Kingwood, Wednesday.

Just after 1:00 p.m., a man walked into the bank, at the intersection of Route 7 and Route 26, and demanded money from a teller, investigators said.

He then fled.

Police consider him armed and dangerous.

ST. ALBANS HOLD-UP - Police are looking for several people allegedly involved in an armed robbery in St. Albans. Capt. James Agee of the St. Albans Police Department said a woman called 911 just before 6 a.m. to report a robbery.

She said she was walking in the 2800 block of MacCorkle Avenue when a woman jumped out of a tan-colored pickup truck, pulled a black pistol and took her purse before speeding off in the direction of South Charleston.

Two men and two women were in the truck, Agee said.

Agee said the woman was able to identify the robber and police have suspects in the case.
