Michael Allen "Mike" Epling,
of Spencer, West Virginia, died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, after an extended illness.
He was born August 20, 1963, at Parkersburg, the son of David R. and J. Jean Conley Epling of Spencer.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his longtime companion, Michelle Taylor of Spencer; daughter and son-in-law, Renata J. and Joe Conley of Spencer; three grandchildren, Hailee, Rhiana and Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ison and Mary Conley; and paternal grandparents, Efford S. and Kay Epling.
Mike had worked as a self-employed roofing contractor and as a supply ship employee for an off shore drilling rig.
His family has honored his request for cremation without a service.
John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is assisting the family with arrangements.
