The ribbon was cut Wednesday in Grantsville for Tudors Biscuit World and Ginos Pizza official opening Friday morning, located at the intersection of Rt. 5 and 16.

Tudor's Biscuits World provides a wide variety of country cooking, including biscuits, breakfast, sandwiches, wraps and platters. Gino's Spaghetti House offers spaghetti, pizza, specialty sandwiches, wings and more.

Grantsville Mayor Curtis Garretson, town council members, company officials and employees of the local restaurant attended the event.

The outlet is the first new business in the town for several years.

Gino's Pizza has been operating in Grantsville since 1991.

The new operation will employ about 30 people.

Mayor Garretson said, "The restaurant is a welcome addition to our town."

Ray Burke, president of the company that has about 70 Ginos and Tudors locations, said "We are looking forward to serving good food and being part of this community."

The new business finally resolves a long-time Grantsville eyesore, and more than decade long battle between various interests about what to do with the property.
