BRAXTON MAN FACING 32 SEXUAL ABUSE CHARGES

A Braxton County man is facing 32 counts related to sexual assault and abuse, police say he was having inappropriate sexual contact with a young girl over the last four years. According to a criminal complaint, Jeffery Agee, 56, of Gassaway, allegedly had the sexual contact with the girl at his home between June 2010 and June 2014. State Police say Agee admitted Tuesday to having improper sexual contact with the girl over the past four years. Agee faces several charges including 1 count of 1st-degree sexual assault, 5 counts of 3rd-degree sexual assault, 10 counts of 2nd-degree sexual abuse and 16 counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, custodian or person in a position of trust. He is currently in Central Regional Jail on a $100,000 bond.
