UPDATE: FIRE STRIKES TOMLINSON HOUSE IN ELIZABETH

UPDATE - Officials are looking in a suspicious fire in Elizabeth.

The West Virginia Fire Marshal's office and the State Police are investigating the fire as linked to arson.

6/8/2015 - A house fire broke out at 912 Court Street in Elizabeth about 1:30 a.m. Monday, and was still burning at 4:00 a.m.

It was identified as the former B. Don Tomblinson residence, near the intersection of Rt. 5/14.

The Elizabeth-Wirt, and Mineral Wells Volunteer Fire Departments responded.

The house was reportedly unoccupied.

Efforts were being made this morning to re-open Rt. 5/14.
