THREE SET FOR SENTENCING IN CIRCUIT COURT MONDAY

Calhoun Circuit Court will be in session Monday starting at 10 a.m. with Judge David W. Nibert presiding.

Christopher Lamp, 22, is scheduled for sentencing.

Lamp had been indicted on two counts of sexual assault in the third degree; two counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian; and two counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, all felonies in 2013.

According to court records, Lamp had entered a plea of guilty to unlawful assault, a felony.

Leon Kerby entered a plea of guilty to Child Abuse Resulting in Injury, a misdemeanor and is set for sentencing Monday.

Scheduled for sentencing is Charles Norman, 31, who had been indicted for one count of operating and attempt to operate a clandestine drug laboratory, a felony; and one count of purchase, receipt, acquisition, and possession of substances to be used as a precursor to manufacture methamphetamine or another controlled substance, a felony; and conspiracy, a felony.

A pre-trial hearing is set for Randall Luke Baker, related to misdemeanor charges in the vehicular death of a Mt. Zion woman. A trial is scheduled for August 4.

There are 15 juvenile cases on the docket involving 24 children.
