WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Alum Creek Bank Robbed

(05/30/2015)
ALUM CREEK BANK ROBBERY - A man robbed the Community Trust Bank in Alum Creek bank at gunpoint Friday morning, sparking a manhunt and prompting a nearby elementary school to be placed on lockdown.

The suspect, who was described as a white male wearing blue jeans and a gray shirt with a camouflage bandana around his face, brandished a handgun and fled on foot toward the back of the bank, which is bordered by a creek and a thickly forested hillside.

Midway Elementary School was immediately placed on lockdown.

Dozens of policemen from various agencies with rifles, including state troopers and Lincoln and Kanawha deputies, swept the area around the bank and searched through thick brush.

A Kanawha deputy said a search dog had tracked the suspect shortly after the robbery was reported, but that police eventually lost track of the man.

WOMAN ROBS WENDYS - Police have released the name of the woman suspected of robbing a fast-food restaurant in Huntington.

Jacee Meadows, 34, was arrested Thursday night after troopers say she pulled a gun and demanded cash in the Wendy's drive-thru on 16th Street Road.

Meadows is now charged with robbery and is being held in the Western Regional Jail.

MAN STABBED - A man suffered multiple stab wounds Friday night in a domestic dispute in Charleston.

The man was taken to CAMC General, and a woman was taken into custody for questioning, according to police.

The extent of the man's injuries is unknown at this time.
