SPENCER FIREMEN RESPOND TO SIMMONS ST. STRUCTURE FIRE

May 28-9:45 AM - The Spencer-Roane VFD is responding to what was described as a "working" structure fire in Simmons Street area of Spencer. The fire department and emergency responders were dispatched at 9:45 a.m. Firemen brought the fire under control within a few minutes. The extent of damage was not learned. Simmons Street is off Rt. 14 on Parkersburg Road Hill.
