CAR CLIPS ELECTRIC POLE ON NICUT ROAD - Driver Arrested DUI

A car went out of control on Nicut Rd. cutting off an electric pole Wednesday night at 11 p.m. There were reportedly four occupants in the vehicle, at least two were taken to Roane General Hospital by Minnie Hamilton EMS for treatment of lacerations and what appeared to be other minor injuries. The Upper West Fork VFD responded to the scene. State Police arrested Brandy Cole Johnson, 19, and charged him with DUI, 1st offense, and he was taken to Central Regional Jail.
