INJURED GILMER ATV RIDER ARRESTED DUI

An Ohio man was arrested in Gilmer County Wednesday after an ATV crash Sunday evening.

Leo Hoerig was arrested and charged with aggravated DUI, after he wrecked while operating an ATV under the influence of alcohol, according to the Gilmer County Sheriff's Department.

Also riding on Hoerig's ATV was a female passenger, who is also from Ohio.

Both Hoerig and the female were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital due to the seriousness of their injuries.

Hoerig was released Wednesday and arrested, the female is still in the hospital.
