Leonard Neal Lesher, 62 - Left Hand

Leonard Neal Lesher, 62, of Left Hand, West Virginia died May 25, 2015 at the Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston, West Virginia.

Neal was born August 12, 1952 in Spencer, West Virginia a son of the late Don and Virginia Dare Webb Lesher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Mae Lesher in 1998. He served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1969 to 1973. He worked at Chandler's Sawmill and Volvo Trucks and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Neal is survived by four sisters, Mary Ann Brannon of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Karen Jarvis and Donita Miller, both of Spencer, and Linda Lesher, with whom he made his home these past few years in Left Hand; five brothers, Kenny and William Lesher, both of Barberton, Ohio, Gerald "Dean" Lesher of Looneyville, West Virginia, Larry Lesher of Zanesville, Ohio, and David Lesher of Spencer; and several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

Service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the TAYLOR-VANDALE FUNERAl HOME, Spencer, with Rev. Danny Whited officiating. Burial will be in the Goodwin Cemetery, Left Hand. Visiting hours are from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
