Vivian Berdeihl Jones, 95 - Gandeeville

Vivian Berdeihl Jones, departed this life at the age of 95 on May 21, 2015 and went home to heaven to be with her late husband, Herbert L. Jones.

She was also preceded in death by her mother Mae Romine Booth and father Roy Booth of Harmony, West Virginia, two brothers, and two sisters.

She was born July 8, 1919 at Higby, West Virginia and lived most of her life on Jones Ridge, Gandeeville, West Virginia.

She was a member of the White Pine Church and of Aplin Church which she attended for over 60 years. She was in the Aplin choir and played her guitar and sang at many area churches.

She is survived by three daughters, Carrie Price of Ripley, West Virginia, Linda (Bob) Rhodes of Gandeeville, and Barbara Moore of Callahan, Florida; ten grandchildren, Cathy (Ray) Hays, Chuck Price, and Jay Rhodes, all of Gandeeville, Gary (Diane) Rhodes of Kenna, West Virginia, Robin (Faron) Christians of Cogswell, North Dakota, Davy (Becky) Rhodes of Ripley, Annette (Jim) Newman of EHT, New Jersey, Jimmy Lupardus of Callahan, and Eric and Mike Carpenter, both of Citra, Florida; 28 great-grandchildren; 5 step-great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; and thirteen step-great-great-grandchildren.

Service will be at 11:00 am on Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home in Spencer, West Virginia. Burial will follow in the Eventide Cemetery in Spencer. Visiting is from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday at the funeral home.
