The Vandalia celebration in Charleston is having a special memorial tribute to Calhoun Appalachian music maker Lester McCumbers this weekend. McCumbers recently died.

The free event is at the Norman Fagan Memorial Theater at 6:30 p.m.

Among those participating in the tribute are, Dwight Diller, Elmer Rich, John & Marvine Loving, Frank George, Charlie Myers, Teddy Vaughn, and the Samples Brothers.
