GARNET HUSK IS A SHINING STAR

A Shining Star goes to Garnet Husk. "Garnet is absolutely amazing with children - she has cared for half the youth in this county, watched children at First Baptist Church Nursery for many many years." Garnet would take care of the children in the nursery and the door would be open, the children all sitting quietly in a circle singing or talking quietly, unbelievably calm and comfortable. She has provided care at the Minnie Hamilton Day Care, caring for children - she recently cared for the children attending the Bill Howley Memorial - not a peep out of the children. "She has an amazing gift with children.I don't know anyone else in this community that has that same gift." Garnet Husk is a Shining Star in this community. Submitted by Jackie Blankenship.
