| Governor Earl Ray Tomblin today announced a federal disaster declaration has been approved for Braxton, Brooke, Doddridge, Gilmer, Jackson, Lewis, Marshall, Ohio, Pleasants, Ritchie, Tyler and Wetzel counties.
The declaration will provide assistance with ongoing state and local recovery efforts resulting from the severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides that occurred April 08-11, 2015.
Funds will be available to state and local agencies under the federal disaster declaration.
The declaration provides assistance for emergency work and the repair or replacement of public facilities damaged between April 08 and April 11.
