Wright, Scott Kitchen, Gregg Strauss, Andy McVey, Roger Bush

Hip Pocket will be performing Friday evening, June 5, at the Calhoun Wood Festival in Grantsville, free street entertainment.

Hip Pocket is the Mid-Ohio Valley's only rock band with a brass section, a reincarnation of one of the most popular rock 'n' roll bands in the Mid-Ohio Valley from the 1990's - Brass Menagerie. Four of the eight original members reunited and added four of the strongest musicians in the area to recreate the sound that had been missing for several years.

The band specializes in an eclectic mix of soul, blues, rock, and contemporary music from the 60's thru today. Hip Pocket's sound is pleasantly unmistakeable. An 8-piece fusion of intricate brass, driving rhythms, and lush vocal harmonies make Hip Pocket a unique and entertaining musical medium for listeners of all ages.
