U&S Trucking wrecker workers extract vehicle from thick woods

A driver plunged over a steep hillside off Rt. 16 on the Mt. Zion Ridge Saturday afternoon, apparently escaping uninjured.

The truck went through thick woods before it came to rest about 100 feet from the highway on the hillside.

The incident happened just south of the LK Bus headquarters.

U & S Trucking wrecker workers pulled the vehicle for towing.

Police investigated the accident.
