CALHOUN 911 REPORTS 450 CALLS IN APRIL

Calhoun's 911 Center processed 447 911 calls in April, according to a report issued by director Kathy Wood.

The West Virginia State Police responded to 118 911 calls, with the Calhoun Sheriff's Department responding to 13 calls.

The State Police, according to the report, responded to about 12 disputes or domestics, five calls related to property, 82 traffic stops, among other calls.

The Grantsville Police Department responded to three 911 calls.

The Natural Resource Police (DNR) did three traffic stops, and responded to three domestic or assault incidents, and one stolen property.

The Grantsville VFD answered two calls, the Upper West Fork VFD five calls, and the Arnoldsburg VFD two calls.

Minnie Hamilton EMS answered about 100 ambulance calls through 911, according to the report.

All of the agencies responded to other calls, not through 911.
