| U.S. Senators Joe Manchin (D-WV) and Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV) announced that four West Virginia health centers will receive a total of $9,968,539 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Minnie Hamilton will be receiving $1.5 million. Minnie Hamilton CEO Steve Whited said this is a federal grant the health facility has received for several years. The grant funds are are used to off-set uncompensated care and sliding fees for medical, dental and behavioral health services.
