LOCAL CIVIL AIR PATROL HELPS WITH FOOD PANTRY GIVE-AWAY

The Calhoun Food Pantry Give-Away held May 2, served approximately 150 area families.

Senior members and Cadets of the Calhoun Composite Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol [CAP] spent their Saturday unloading a tractor trailer of food for Feeding America.

The group served the community by separating, passing-out and carrying food to peoples vehicles.

CAP members helping with the event were, 1st class Airman Matthew Rush, Airmen Ethan Fisher, Alec Richards, Zayla Taylor, James Isenhart and Cadet Monique Taylor.

CAP Public Affairs Officer Chasidy Rush wishes to thank all the usual volunteers and those who jumped in to lend a hand.
