Barbara Lois Fowler, 78 - Parkersburg

Barbara Lois Fowler, 78, of Parkersburg, West Virginia, passed away May 3, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.

She was born January 1, 1937, in Spencer, W.Va., a daughter of the late Brooks and Flossie Price Greathouse.

Barbara was a homemaker and had been employed at Sears and Roebuck as an office manager in the 60's. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her friends and family.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Hronec (Kevin) of Westerville, Ohio and Beth Parson (Tom) of Parkersburg; one sister, Sally Snyder of Parkersburg; one brother, Jack Greathouse of Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Hannah and Hailey Hronec, and Bayley and Breanna Parsons; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randel Fowler; one brother, Bill Greathouse, and one sister, Diana Wigal.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 7, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Don Yeager officiating. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Grantsville. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 6, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
