Calhoun taxidermist Eric Metz killed this bobcat earlier this week near Clendenin in
Kanawha County. The Big Root resident who owns E. M. Taxidermy plans to do a
mounting with the animal.
Metz, who has 20 years experience in taxidermy, is sponsoring a Big Buck Contest,
one for archery and one for rifle. The winners will get a free shoulder mount. The
archery contest will be scored by November 24. The rifle contest will be scored by
December 8.
