WV KNIFE AND GUN CLUB - Dead Dog Leads To Shots Fired

ELKVIEW - An Elkview man Joe Williams was arrested Sunday, after firing his gun several times and at one point holding the weapon to his head. Kanawha County deputies received calls about shots being fired in the area. Deputies began to search the area when they received a call from dispatch, who told them neighbors called and said the pair had returned to the residence. Upon arrival, the female, Lisa Ratliff, exited the home and then Williams exited and was arrested without incident. Ratcliff later told the deputies everything stemmed from a argument the pair had after she woke up and found her dog had died. Williams is charged with wanton endangerment.
