HANNAH ORDERED TO PAY $5,000 RESTITUTION OVER WELFARE FRAUD - Court Deals With Drug Cases

Calhoun prosecutor Shannon Johnson said Ashley Easton White appeared in Calhoun Circuit Court for a probation violation related to drug charges.

Ashton admitted to a first technical violation and was sentenced to time served.

She was placed back on probation and ordered to successfully complete a rehabilitation program.

Jacquelyn Hannah appeared for sentencing on her charge of false statements in obtaining welfare benefits, a misdemeanor, said Johnson.

Hannah was placed on five years probation, ordered to pay court costs, a $2.50 per month supervised probation fee, and a $2.50 community corrections fee per month.

Further, she was ordered to pay $5,360 in restitution to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources.

Jason White was sentenced to two years probation after his successful completion of the Anthony Center for Youthful Offenders related to drug charges.

White will also be required to pay a $2.50 community corrections fee per month and a $2.50 probation fee per month.

There were also 12 juvenile cases on the docket and one civil case.

The next court date is April 27, with Judge Evans presiding.
