Using a belated filing period, a Grantsville woman, Elizabeth Sterling has filed for Recorder, with the deadline Tuesday.
The town's election is June 9.
Zachary R. Hupp was the only filer to fill the seat of the Mayor of Grantsville.
Eight candidates have filed for the five council seats, Judy Powell, Dorothy McCauley, Stacy Hickman, Frank Yeager, Brenda Yeager, Geneva Nicholson, Linda Jarvis, and Jesse Davis.
