WOMEN'S HEALTH DAY TODAY AT MINNIE HAMILTON

Minnie Hamilton Health System, in partnership with the West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program will be hosting a Women's Health Day on Friday. The event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude at noon. A health/information fair will be set up with light refreshments, give-aways and door prizes provided. Vendors participating include Retired Senior Volunteer Program, Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department, Domestic Abuse Response Team and Parents As Teachers. Janie Knotts, PA-C will be providing pap test/breast exams in the Rural Health Clinic. Appointments are available now. BCCSP will be on hand to register women who are under-insured and may qualify for their program. Any woman who does not have insurance and does not qualify for BCCSP will have the cost of the pap smear waived, as well as any copays that may be required.
