TEEN DRIVER ESCAPES SERIOUS INJURY IN BARNES RUN ROLL-OVER

A driver lost control of a vehicle on Barnes Run at 7:20 a.m. Thursday, about two miles from Rt. 16, reportedly suffering minor injuries. The vehicle reportedly rolled-over before striking the hillside. The driver, reportedly a 17-year-old female, was taken to Roane General Hospital by Minnie Hamilton EMS. The Grantsville VFD and Calhoun Sheriffs Department responded.
