NWS ISSUES FLOOD WARNING FOR CALHOUN AND REGION

(04/14/2015)
A NWS flood watch has been changed to a WARNING until 12:45 P.M. Tuesday for Calhoun and most regional counties.

At 6:52 am EDT radar estimates and gauge reports indicate 1 to 2 inches of rain has fallen across the area over the past several hours.

Moderate rain continues to fall over the area... with another inch of rain possible by mid morning.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of creeks and streams.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or has been reported. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
