Gail D. (McIntire) Hall 63, of Elizabeth WV passed away April 7, 2016 after a long battle with cancer.

She was born June 6, 1951 in Belaire Ohio, she was raised by her foster parents Alberta and the late Howard Modesitt.

She was a 1970 graduate of PHS, loved fishing, hunting and spending time with her family and her annual trips to Tennessee.

Gail was the beloved mother of 3 children, Stephanie Johnson of Little Hocking OH, Cindy Johnson (Rob) of Sissonville WV and David Johnson (Jackie) of Elizabeth WV; grandmother of Brittany Lamp, Cody, Scott, Kyle Greenberg, Danielle Johnson, Wade, Lance and Dane Stephens, and Chloe Johnson; great grandmother of Kadence Lamp and all those who called her Nana.

She is also survived by her foster mother Alberta Modisett; brothers and sisters, Mary Lou Miller, Melvin Leek, Ronnie Leek, Wayne Leek, Butch Buchannan, and Galen Copen.

She is preceded in death by her father Paul Leek Sr. and foster father Howard Modisett; sisters, Virginia Miller and Joyce Buchannan; brothers, Arlin Leek, Orval Leek, and George Leek.

Services will be Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Matheny Whited funeral Home of Elizabeth WV with Rev. Rick Bourne officiating. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service on Sunday. Interment will follow at Owl Hill Cemetery.
