POLICE RESPOND TO BRANDISHING WEAPON REPORT NEAR ORMA |

| State Police responded to a complaint on Sandstone Lane (Rt. 16) near Orma Tuesday at 3:18 p.m., a woman saying a man was blocking her driveway and that he had brandished a weapon. Police were dispatched to the same location a few weeks ago, with an initial report of "shots fired," which apparently did not occur. Minnie Hamilton EMS was dispatched to the woman's residence for a well-being check. The woman reported she had a video of the man brandishing the weapon. Police are investigating. ORIGINAL STORY 3/23/2015 - State Police responded to a 911 call from a woman at Sandstone Lane near Orma (Rt. 16) to what was first reported as a "shots fired" call involving two individuals. Three cruisers responded to the incident at 6:43 p.m. Friday. A further report indicated shots were not likely fired, but a subject, according to the initial report, was allegedly brandishing a 9mm pistol at the caller's boyfriend. When officers arrived they said the situation was under control. No arrests made. An investigation was continuing. |
