Denzil Ray Boothe "Dink", 73 - Grantsville

Denzil Ray Boothe "Dink", 73, of Grantsville, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at CAMC General in Charleston, WV, following an accident.

He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Brooks & Sylvia Boothe. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was retired from the oil & gas industry. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, working around on the farm, and having Sunday dinner with the family.

He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Betty Boothe; two daughters, Beverly and her husband Randy Harris of Grantsville, Tanya and her husband AJ Stewart of Glenville; and one son, Jason Swearingen and his wife Alicia of Chloe; seven grandsons, Tristan Harris and wife Hannah of PA, Jonluc Harris, Jaden Swearingen, Adam Stewart, Kade Swearingen, Seth Stewart, and Orion Swearingen; also three great-granddaughters, Abby Harris, Angel Harris, and Allie Harris.

Also, four sisters, Faye Williams of Elizabeth, Marie Wine of Parkersburg, Norma Fridley and Sandy Nester of Davisville; two brothers, Carl Boothe of Smithville and Ronzel Boothe of Grantsville.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Boothe "Sonny" and Donzel Boothe of Mt. Zion.

Funeral Services will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Stump Funeral Home in Grantsville. A half an hour visitation will be held prior to the service.

Pastor Phil Wilson and Rev. Kenneth Heiney will officiate. Interment will be at the Boothe Cemetery at Grantsville.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2015.
