Denny Lee "Hopsing" Rhodes, 44, of Ivydale, West Virginia, died March 31, 2015 at the Braxton County Memorial Hospital, Gassaway. He was born October 26, 1970 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Toney Leon and Pearldene Marie Mitchell Rhodes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donnie Mitchell. Hopsing was a disabled oil field employee. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline R. "Jacki" Rhodes of Ivydale; children, Andrew Glaspell, Michelle Keener, Kaylee Rhodes, Christopher Keener, Dalton Dennis and Toney Rhodes; sister, Donna Hickman of Walton WV; brother, William "Bump" Rhodes. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer. Afterward, he will be cremated and at a later date buried at the Mt.
