Kenneth Ray Collins, 74 - Washington

Kenneth Ray Collins, 74, of Washington, WV, passed away March 20, 2015 at Ruby Memorial in Morgantown, WV.

He was born October 21, 1940 in Gilmer County, WV, a son of the late Arthur and Eva Wilmoth Collins.

Kenneth had graduated from Normantown High School in 1958. He joined the US Army and proudly served his country. He retired from DuPont Washington Works in 1998 after thirty two years with the company.

He was a devoted father and family man and enjoyed family gatherings.

Surviving Kenneth are his three children Regina Ann Underwood (Daniel) of Washington, Kevin Kenneth Collins (Angela) of Mineral Wells, and Scott Arthur Collins of Washington; four grandchildren Adam, Kayla, Elizabeth, and Travis; two great grandchildren Madeleine and Carter. He leaves two brothers; Shirley Wilmoth of Horner, WV, Brenton Collins of Parkersburg, and one sister;Linda Stuart of Salem, WV and dear companion Joy Riddle, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife of forty seven years Barbara Ann Slater Collins in 2008 and sister Lena Mae Langford.

The funeral service at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at the Meadow Lane Cemetery near Glenville.
