UPDATE: MURDER SUSPECT WHO ESCAPED SHARPE HOSPITAL FOUND

UPDATE - A man charged with murder who escaped Sharpe psychiatric hospital in Weston earlier this week was captured late Wednesday night in Harrison County near WcWhorter.

Rocco Jesse Zuccaro, 30, was arrested after police found him hiding near a natural gas facility.

Zuccaro is now in the North Central Regional Jail awaiting arraignment on a felony escape charge.

He is charged with murder in Brooke County, West Virginia.

A murder suspect is on the loose and investigators need your help as of Monday night.

According to a press release from State Police, 30-year-old Rocco Jesse Zuccaro of Burgettstown, Pennsylvania escaped from the William R. Sharpe, Jr. Hospital in Weston around 4:20 p.m.

He is a white man, 6 feet tall and 170 pounds. He has dark hair, glasses and a mustache. He was last seen wearing black pants with a rip on the left pant leg and a dark blue or black pull over shirt.

He is charged with murder out of Brooke County. You are advised to not approach Zuccaro. Call your closest State Police detachment or 911.
