CEDARVILLE MAN CHARGED WITH SEXUAL ABUSE

A 46-year-old Gilmer County man is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $25,000, charged by the Gilmer Sheriffs Department. Kevin Douglas Hacker, 46, of Cedarville is facing sexual abuse charges related to the exploitation of a minor. He is charged as a parent or guardian after asking to perform oral sex on a 17-year-old female relative. Hacker told the girl if she let him, he would not tell her mother about the girl's relationship with her boyfriend. According to the complaint, the girl told her boyfriend, who called law enforcement about the incident. Roger Lee Godfrey, 39, has been charged by Roane authorities with assault, 1st/2nd stalking/harassment, and trespassing. He is in Central Regional Jail with bond set at $11,500. A Gilmer woman, Terri Ann Pettry, 42, has been charged with obstructing a police office, making threats to officer. She is in Central Regional Jail.
