MAN SHOT AND KILLED - The West Virginia State Police says officers shot and killed a Brooke County man after he threatened them with a knife. Lt. Michael Baylous says a trooper along with local law enforcement officers responded to a 911 call Friday night regarding a man cutting himself with a knife and a female in the background screaming. When officers arrived at the home in Follansbee and heard a female screaming, they forced their way through the front door. Officials say 53-year-old Clifton Reintzel charged toward the officers with the knife in a threatening manner. They responded by using their department-issued firearms, said Baylous. Reintzel was transported to Weirton Medical Center where he later died.
