ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION TO HOST WORKSHOP

SUTTON, W.VA. - The Alzheimer's Association, West Virginia Chapter is offering The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, & Alzheimer's Disease, a free community workshop for caregivers and others interested in information regarding Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

The one-hour workshop will be held Wednesday, March 18 at 5 p.m. at the Braxton County Senior Citizens Center, Inc., located at 23 Senior Center Drive, Sutton, WV.

The workshop is an introduction to the fundamentals of Alzheimer's disease and is designed to help families and caregivers gain a better understanding of warning signs, diagnosis, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease, and much more. The workshop is open to the public and community members are encouraged to attend.
