Donald Hill, 77 - Calhoun County

Donald Hill, 77 of Calhoun County, West Virginia, passed away March 7, 2015 at his residence. He retired from Operating Engineers local 123 of Charleston WV. He enjoyed camping, fishing, playing poker and shooting pool. Don prided himself in being an honest hard working man, and wished to be remembered as a good man, always willing to help others in need. He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Kerby (Brian) of Calhoun County; granddaughter, Nicloe Nelson (Willie) of Calhoun County; 2 grandsons, Chris Scragg of North Carolina and Matthew Hill of Calhoun County; and several special friends and family. He was preceded in death by his wife Judith Hill and 2 daughters Kimberly and Robin Hill. There will be no services. Matheny Whited Funeral Home of Elizabeth WV assisted the family.
