Phyllis Ruth Cottrell, 74, of Normantown, WV passed away Friday, March 6, 2015 at her home.

She was a daughter of the late James and Zella Murphy Rush.

She is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by brother, Allen Rush and an infant brother.

She was a member of the Church of the Living God, Spencer, WV.

She is survived by daughter, Mary Sue Cottrell of Normantown, WV; brothers, Scottie (Margaret) Rush and Shirley (Kathy) Rush both of Crummies Creek, WV; Charles Rush and Earnest Rush both of Mt. Zion, WV; and Paul Rush of Sand Ridge, WV; sisters, Gladys Roupe of Barberton, Ohio; Goldie (Tom) Green of Mogadore, Ohio; Helen (Roscoe) Rogers of Orma, WV; Mine Lou (Ordie) Rogers of Orma, WV; Vine Sue (Clarance) Rush of Arnoldsburg, WV; Opal Gay (Rick) Horsley of Spencer, WV; and Nelsie Juanita Rush of Orma, WV; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg. Rev. Gene Satterfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Metz Community Cemetery in Sand Ridge. Friends and family may call at Stump Funeral Home in Arnoldsburg from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, March 9 and one hour prior to the services.
