CALHOUN COUPLE ESCAPE INJURY WHEN VEHICLE PLUNGES OVER HILL

A couple were trapped in their vehicle Thursday afternoon after it plunged over the hill at Sassafras Ridge/Big Run. The highway was covered with snow and ice. Arnoldsburg VFD firemen had to extract the couple, neither requiring medical treatment. Minnie Hamilton EMS and firemen responded to the incident at 4:16 p.m.
