THURSDAY WEATHER ALERT - Winter Storm Warning 4-8" Snow, Temperature Dropping To Zero Thursday Night

Heavy, wet snow was rapidly accumulating at midnight Wednesday, including on power and telephone lines. Winter Storm Warning remains in effect to 7 PM EST Thursday with snow and sleet. Snow accumulations 4 to 8 inches, with snow continuing through most of Thursday. Thursday night/Friday mornings temperature is predicted to drop to zero or below. A warming trend is coming this weekend. The Little Kanawha River is cresting inches below flood stage, according to the NWS prediction report.
