LEWIS HOLD-UP SUSPECT ARRESTED - Authorities in Lewis County have charged Stephen Homer, 18, of Blue Ridge, Va. for robbing GNC at the Market Place Shopping Center in Weston.

Homer was attempting to flee the area by bus when law enforcement caught up to him.

Homer is in the Central Regional Jail with bail set at $200,000.

MORGANTOWN HOLD-UP - Morgantown Police Department is searching for a man who officers said robbed a local convenience store.

A man armed with a knife approached a clerk Saturday just after 3 a.m. at the BFS on Earl Core Road in Morgantown.

The clerk said the robber is a white man, who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt. The clerk said the man demanded money and then ran off with an undisclosed amount.

HUNTINGTON STABBING - A Huntington man is behind bars after he is accused of cutting a woman in the face.

David Starkey is charged with malicious wounding after he cut a woman on the cheek with a steak knife, according to a criminal complaint filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court.

He is being held in the Western Regional Jail on a $50,000 bond.
