GRANTSVILLE LIONS CLUB PARTNERS WITH THE COMMUNITY - Changing Lives One Pair Of Glasses At A Time

(02/28/2015)

Librarian Amy Norman places glasses in the
collection box at the Calhoun County Library

In just about any dresser drawer, one can find a pair of eyeglasses that are no longer being used. That same pair of eyeglasses can change another person's life.

Throughout the year the Grantsville Lions Club and other volunteers collect used eyeglasses and deliver them to Dr. Mark Cinalli, who then checks the recycled glasses and distributes them to those in need of corrected vision in our local area.

You can drop off your usable eyewear at these Lions Club-sponsored collection boxes in our area. Calhoun Banks (both Arnoldsburg and Grantsville); Calhoun County Library; C.R.I., County Clerk's Office and J & B Drug Store.

If you have a service request and would like to have a Vision application, you may call our Vision Chairperson, Cheryl Cheesebrew (304)354-6998 (if no answer - please leave message)
